Her mother had been born around the time of Christ, give or take a century, although some sources put it earlier (perhaps Samantha's grandmother). Upon the appointed hour, she replaced Queen Tichiba, despite her rebellion from the pettiness of her society (that had only enmeshed her within that of another).
