Horror Fiction
Horror fiction is a shape-shifter, able to disguise itself and emerge suddenly from mystery, romance and even factual report; and from any setting. But what is it about words on a page that conveys horror so well? Reading is an intimate experience, and the ideas can expand to fill spaces the author cannot sense. Whether intended as subtle instruments or gouging weapons, words can connect directly to the mind.
