Several creators along with myself discussed the idea of producing an anthology. We decided an escape theme had to run through each person's tale, the Sydney Harbour Bridge must be seen, and finally five objects had to appear in each story. It was on slow boil for a long time, as I didn't have the cash to produce a comic of this size. Thankfully my brother stepped in about a year and a half later and paid for the printing.

I see Escape as my first true comic, not because it was printed, but simply because I learned a lot from it.
